Today my little brother is getting married!!!!!!!!!!

Hubby and I will have a walk down memory lane, our four year anniversary was yesterday and my brother and his soon-to-be are getting married in the same church we did.

It is amazing to be back in this church for years later with our baby. Time goes so quickly and we have been so blessed.

Being at this church is like going home. It’s just a few blocks from the house I grew up in, and I went to the elementary school affiliated with the church. I spent a lot of time here growing up and it’s so peaceful to be back.

I can’t believe that my brother is getting married. To me he’s still a little kid playing legos and video games and sleeping in. Now he’s a man and I can’t believe it. I’m proud of him. He’s a good one. 🙂

I would totally be a wedding planner if not for having to work on the weekends. I love everything about it. It is (generally) a profession where you deal with mostly happy people. I love planning and it’s fun for me to organize and event. When I was planning my wedding we had a wedding planner (she was so fab. If you’re in the Pgh area and in the market please email me and I will send her info. THE BEST.) because at the time I was in law school and my father had just passed. I needed help keeping up with all the details and she was a huge asset. Saved me TONS of time and headaches. If you are able to get a planner, I suggest it. Her advice and experience were invaluable and she had fantastic vendor connections. If you have a planner you’re not going to get a flaky vendor because they want to keep good business relationships with each other. My wedding day was so wonderful and I didn’t have to worry about anything because she took care of everything day-of.
